All 2Gals “Terms and Conditions” and “How To Prep For Us To Paint” instructions must be followed the same as a paying customer. We cannot be held liable for anything outside of those terms.

How To Prep For Us To Paint Your House:

1.Remove all precious and/or breakable items from the space being painted.

2. Remove any area rugs and move furniture to the centre of the room leaving a minimum of 3 feet around the circumference of the room. We will cover your furniture and floors. Ideally everything should be removed, however we understand it is not always feasible. We cannot be responsible for any damage to anything left in the room we are painting so please remove as much as possible. If you are leaving sofas and beds in the rooms, remove blankets, pillows and all bedding.

4. Unplug any tv’s, radio’s, etc. IF it is very important that it be left plugged in, please attach a note to the plug that says “Do not unplug” and let the project manager know ASAP. Our painters are instructed not to touch electrical cords and we cannot be liable for anything that is damaged from being unplugged.

5. Remove face plate covers from light switches and outlets. Leave any face plates with wires behind them (such as telephone/cable jacks, central vac systems) in place and we will paint around them. It is highly recommended that you wait 24-48 hrs after the painting is completed prior to re-installing face plates to allow the paint to cure, otherwise next time you remove a face plate, the paint could peel off the wall.

6. Remove all wall art and shelving from walls.

7. With a pencil, draw a circle around any nails/screws/art hangers that you want to leave in place if you are hanging your wall art back in the same place. Our painters will remove and repair all other nails, screws, etc and repair unless there is a pencil circle around it.

8. Remove curtains, drapes and their hardware (leave hardware in place and we will paint around it if you are putting the curtains/drapes back). If we are painting your window frames, remove any blinds and hardware.

9. Pets should be kept out of the areas being painted. We cannot be responsible for any costs associated with boarding your pets while we are painting. The dates we give you are approximate and not guaranteed. If we take longer than expected, we are not responsible for additional kenneling or other costs.

We cannot be held liable for any paint drips on blinds/curtains/shelving/faceplates, pillows, blankets, linens, etc. that have not been removed as instructed above. Our painters arrive at 8am and work until 4:30pm daily Monday to Friday unless other arrangements have been made prior starting. Our Project Manager will be in contact with you a few days prior to the commencement of your project to go over any last minute details including start times, paint colours, arrangements to get into the space, etc. This is the best time to ask any last minute questions.

Please read through entire estimate thoroughly. Work to be completed as written. If anything is missing, please address it prior to acceptance of estimate so that changes can be made before commencement. Anything not in writing will not be completed. Please electronically sign this estimate and return it as acceptance of project at which time we will schedule a date for your project to be completed. If any changes are made to the estimate prior to starting, a new estimate will be sent to you and you will be required to sign and return after each change. This is to protect both the customer and the company and provide clarity that both parties fully understand and agree to the scope of work and price estimated.

-Customer must make arrangements to attend or have an alternative attend for a Project Opening Walk-Through upon arrival before painters start working for the day.

-Estimate is valid for 60 days.

-Prices are based on current material costs and are subject to change. The number of days estimated to complete the project is just an estimate and the project could be completed quicker or take longer than estimated, however the price estimated remains the same unless additional work is added which will be approved in writing prior to being started.

-Paint, Stain, Urethane estimated based on square footage and base colour. This is an estimate only. If additional material is needed additional charges will apply. Customer will be notified of additional material needed prior to purchase. “Complimentary colour consultation included in booked projects where paint is supplied by the company.”

-Customer must supply us with their colour choices by no later than the Wednesday of the week before the start date. Colours can only be from Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams or Dulux. We will mix them in Dulux as default unless another supplier is discussed and written on estimate before acceptance. We cannot colour match paint colours from any other company. It is the responsibility of the customer to get us the proper paint colours. If we do not receive the proper colour codes by the Wednesday of the week before project start date, the project start date may have to be moved until we receive the proper colour codes. -2 year warranty on finished projects where paint and materials are supplied by 2GalsProPainting.

-There is no warranty offered on exterior decks and fencing as this type of work requires regular maintenance and upkeep.

-There is no warranty on wallpaper installation.

-A Final walk-through with the customer will be completed with the painter or Lead Hand at the end of project. The customer must make arrangements to attend upon completion of the project. The Lead Hand will notify customer within 4 hours of completion to allow cutomer to be on site or send an alternate to complete the walk-through and sign off as complete. If the customer does not make arrangements to be onsite for the final walk-through upon completion, customer is waiving the right to signing off and calling the company back for deficiencies and the job will be considered complete with no deficiencies.

-During the final walk-through, if there are deficiencies to be completed, a date will be scheduled to complete them. If the customer attempts to complete the deficiencies on their own, the 2 year warranty will be void.

-Customer to dispose of empty recyclable paint cans & waste. If you would like us to remove paint cans and waste, let us know upon approval of estimate and an additional $25 charge will be added.

-Payment due in full upon completion. Completion is defined as when the project is complete and the customer has signed off that there are no deficiencies OR when the customer has waived their right to a final walk through.

-Payment Methods: Cash, cheque, e-transfer, Visa or Mastercard Make cheques payable to: 2GalsProPainting DO NOT MAIL CHEQUES WE WILL NOT RECEIVE THEM. PLEASE GIVE TO PAINTER OR PROJECT MANAGER UPON COMPLETION.
